I was really tired of xmms, and some problems it begun to have, and its realtive lack of new feature that made it quite inadequate to manage my (not so) huge mp3/ogg collection ... and I switched some month ago to amaroK ...

It has really nice feature, among those, I really enjoy[1] :

  • the great cover manager, it's really nice
  • the great look & feel
  • and recently, I really discovered the scriptability, and the plugins like this desktop.py

I use amaroK since 0.9 ... the progress are amazing. KDE does not lack a jukebox anymore (sorry but I don't like JuK at all.

I really enjoy it !!! very very very nice work guys !
